How OSA increased conversion and user engagement with Taku
Overseas Students Australia (OSA) is a platform for international students in Australia, offering guidance on education, accommodation, and employment opportunities.

1. Sharing updates
OSA's main focus is providing up-to-date information about studying in Australia. They needed a way to instantly notify users without interrupting their experience. Taku proved to be the perfect solution. Setting up the widget took only a few minutes, and the OSA team began connecting with users immediately, seeing thousands of views and up to 20% interaction rate increase on their messages.
2. Growing newsletter
Encouraged by the engagement rates, the OSA team decided to use Taku to grow their newsletter list. They composed a message with a custom form for users to enter their name and email, then posted it as a popup notification.
As a result, they got 5% more signups compared to previous tool.
The new AI based pop up recommendations are gold as they serve pop ups that users are more likely to interact with.

3. Advertisement
Promoting advertisements from partners to the OSA community without worsening the user experience or bombarding users with notifications was a challenge. Taku managed this effortlessly by assigning a “High” priority to advertisement messages, ensuring they were displayed first at the optimal time for user interaction.
After using Taku for advertisements, OSA saw up to 3% increase in conversion rates compared to previous tool.
